Kate Ingold - "Night Telegram/Water Speak"

Night Telegram/Water Speak is the newest work in an ongoing, long-term, image/text project of visual work and poems called Dream of Water. Within this project, Ingold examines issues of war, ecological destruction, commodification, the acts of disturbance and reparation, mutual ascendancy and collapse, and our response to these issues. Night Telegram/Water Speak is a site-specific installation addressing the historical relevance of the Pullman neighborhood within the context of the Dream of Water project.

Ingold will read the poems from Night Telegram/Water Speak at 6:30 p.m. during the opening reception. Plus there will be snacks and other fun things and the opportunity to see Chicago's most fascinating neighborhood, Pullman. Please join us!
