Dana Day - will transform the mosnart space as part of The Annual Pullman Dia de los Muertos Altar Walk and Chicago Artist Month

Dana began studying photography at a local community college in southern Virginia. She later transferred to Columbia College in Chicago where she had the joy of discovering Pinhole Photography. The medium immediately appealed to Day, as she was finally able to obtain the imagery of which she had long been dreaming. Her pinhole cameras are filled with light leaks that she feels no need to perfect, the "mistake" element being what she loves most about the resulting photographs.

Over the past fifteen years, She has shown her work nationally in a variety of venues, from coffee shops to juried competitions with jurors such as Joyce Tenneson. She has had images published in the Pinhole Journal on two occasions and also a few images in a small British publication The Dark Chamber. Dana Day is currently living in Chicago with two cats.
