Directions to the Historic Pullman District The Pullman Historic District is located in southeast Chicago (approximately 12 miles from the downtown). Driving Directions: (From Downtown Chicago) I-94 east (south) to the 111th Street exit (#66A), Go west 4 blocks on 111th Street. You Are Here! To your right you will see the work being done on the famous Pullman Factory/Clock Tower buildings... To your left will be Executive row houses, the elegant Hotel Florence, and Pullman Park. The Visitor Center is located at 11141 S. Cottage Grove Ave (Take a left at the light before the viaduct). Parking is available in the visitor lot, on the street around the Hotel or along Cottage Grove or 111th Street. Walk south on Cottage Grove (about a block) to the Visitor Center(11141 S. Cottage Grove Ave. ). The trip from downtown takes under thirty minutes by train.
