![]() (1)The first planned industrial town in America - Circa 1880’s Pullman Civic Organization Art Space Survey for Local Community Members Please share your thoughts with us and help spread the word! If you live in or near Pullman, we need your help, specifically your input and ideas. The PCO Art Space Committee is currently assessing the neighborhood’s capacity and potential to transform some of our landmark buildings into artist studios, live-work spaces, galleries and/or exhibition venues. In order to help us determine what is feasible and realistic, and to make sure that the project meets community and artists’ needs, we we want to reach out to the local community and Pullman residents to get your feedback on what you would like to see in the neighborhood, how you think art can transform the community, what activities you would like to participate in, what’s important to you, etc. Deadline to complete the survey is Friday, October 14th, 2011. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PullmanArtSurveycommunitymember Calling all artists in and around Chicago. The Pullman Art Space Committee is assessing how art can continue to transform this neighborhood. We are interested in the needs of all creative individuals who have a genuine commitment to their art, be that painting, dancing, writing, restoring historic buildings, making pottery, etc. If you want to grow as an artist, have studied or are training in your discipline, are developing or have developed a body of work, are a professional artist or are actively creating and finding new forms of expression, please share your thoughts and ideas with us! You do not have to earn income from your art or practice full time. If you consider your work to be art, then we probably will too. Deadline to complete the survey is Friday, October 17th, 2011. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PullmanArtistSurvey LINKS TO EVENTS (updated) House Tour - Garden Walk - Victorian Dinner - State Site Events - and more!...
